Little Lambs NPO
Supporting and Educating Teenage Girls, young mothers, vulnerable children and babies
Since 2008, Little Lambs NPO has worked to bring hope, dignity, and practical support to vulnerable mothers, babies, children, and teenage girls in Dunoon, Cape Town. What began with two friends and a car full of baby essentials has grown into a movement transforming lives through care, education, and empowerment.
Our Mission in Action
Changing Lives,
One Step at a Time
At Little Lambs, every project is rooted in compassion, empowerment, and sustainable change. From maternity packs for new mothers to education workshops for teenage girls, we are creating opportunities for growth, dignity, and transformation in vulnerable communities.
Compassion
in Action
Every initiative begins with compassion. We reach out to mothers, babies, and children in need, ensuring that every act of kindness brings comfort, hope, and dignity.
Empowering
Women & Girls
Through education, skills training, and mentorship, we empower women and teenage girls to build confidence, independence, and brighter futures for themselves and their families.
Restoring
Dignity
Our work is about more than aid — it’s about restoring self-worth. Each project gives mothers and girls the chance to stand tall, knowing they are valued and supported.
Building
Sustainable Change
From community-driven initiatives to income-generating opportunities, we focus on creating lasting solutions that help break the cycle of poverty and uplift entire families.
Our Impact in the Community
Our core Projects
Every initiative at Little Lambs exists to restore hope and dignity. Here’s how we’re making a lasting impact in our community:
Keep a Girl in School (KAGIS)
Empowering 300 teenage girls each year with monthly food and toiletry packs, while providing vital education on health, mental well-being, and personal development.
Maternity & Prem Project
Providing essential maternity and premature baby packs to mothers in need, offering both practical support and emotional care during vulnerable times.
Education Workshops
Monthly awareness workshops teaching life skills, health education, and self-empowerment to young girls in Dunoon — from menstrual health to self-defence and mental wellness.
Empowerment Project
Creating income opportunities for unemployed women through the sale of pre-loved clothing at affordable prices — a hand up, not a handout.
Our Impact
Every Child
Deserves a Chance
From newborns to teenagers, Little Lambs continues to stand beside those who need it most.
Hundreds of maternity and prem packs are distributed every year, over 300 girls are supported through the KAGIS project, and countless families are reached through education, empowerment, and care.
Every small act of kindness helps change a life.
